The authors are down-to-earth parents with heaps of life experience and common sense.

Kylie Hyland–Ward lives in Sydney, Australia with her husband and three children. 

Kylie had a rewarding career in international sales.  She is mum to two young girls and full-time carer of her severely disabled teenage son. She wants her girls to grow up confident and well informed. She decided to write books that build kids’ self-confidence and secure their sexual wellbeing, an activity that fits with her busy and unpredictable family life.

Brian Seenan is a management consultant and widowed father of three, living in Scotland.

Brian has seen the positive effect that mature discussion of sex has on sexual attitudes and behaviours. On the flip side, he sees parents assume their kids learn everything from sex education at school. Without mature discussion, kids’ sexual perceptions, expectations and behaviours are shaped by the Internet, social media, TV and magazines.

He decided to create a series of pertinent, up-to-date books on sex and sexual behaviour for young people to emulate open and honest discussion and guidance.

The result is the Incredible Human Life series, written with Kylie.
